The Wedding Ceremonies

We currently offer two options for a full wedding ceremony - Platinum Bespoke and Gold Standard - which will include the legal formalities if required and we also offer a simple ceremony with the Silver Legal option.

To enable us to include the legal marriage you will be required to give notice and obtain your Marriage Licence from the Greffe for which they will make a charge. Notice can be given from twelve months before your wedding day and we are recommending that you complete the meeting at the Greffe to obtain your the marriage licence around six weeks ahead of the date.

For a more informal ceremony an affirmation may be suitable however this would not include any legal marriage.

An overview of each of the ceremonies is provided below and we can arrange a no obligation meeting to chat through the options after which you can decide if you would like to go ahead.

With dates being reserved up to three years ahead it's never to soon to get your date into our diary.  We are happy to pencil in multiple dates while you are finalising your arrangements and will contact you if other requests are received for those dates.

ESSENTIAL CIVIL CEREMONY -  just the basic legal declarations completed in a few minutes with the minimum fuss.

If you have your own ideas and want to do things your way and the only thing missing from your plans is the
legal formalities that are required which can only be done by a registered Civil Celebrant then our Essential
Civil Ceremony could be the answer.
Your celebrant will arrive at the ceremony location around 30 minutes before the time shown on your
marriage licence. At the appointed time they will request that the required declarations are made and the
Marriage Return Form is signed by the couple and two witnesses over the age of 18. The celebrant will then pronounce you are married if you wish and after a few words of congratulation they will leave the location.
This option can be used so the legal formalities can be completed ahead of a celebration conducted by a friend or other individual.

AFFIRMATION CEREMONY -  a commitment ceremony without a legal marriage.

  • Standard wording for opening words of welcome and thoughts on love, marriage and relationships and closing

  • Choice of one reading from a selection of 25 that can be included in the ceremony to be read by the celebrant or a guest.

  • Your own wording for promises to make to each other – samples will be provided for guidance if required

  • Selection of wording for the ‘I do’ question and ring or gift exchange.

  • Reading cards for the bride and groom and anyone performing the reading at the ceremony in a standard design.
