Hotels

Many hotels offer complete packages for your wedding reception and some have lovely rooms for your Humanist Ceremony to take place. If you are looking to hold the ceremony outside - either in the hotel grounds or at another location the hotel can often be the 'plan B' just in case of inclement weather on the day.

Other locations

Often the ceremony takes place at a different location to the reception.
I have done ceremonies on beaches and headlands around the island and I am always amazed at the new ideas couples have when they are planning where to make their personal commitment to each other.

Planning

There are so many different options available to you when trying to decide on how your day will finally come together. A wedding planner can help as they have lots of experience and ideas. There are usually wedding fayres taking place and these will showcase many of the suppliers available on the island.

Photographers

One of the most important elements of your day will be the images taken by your photographer as these will remain with you long after the day is done.
Choosing the right professional for you means takiing time to have a good look at their portfolios and talking through your ideas and what they offer.
If you have a venue in mind then the photographer may have worked there before and will have some images to show you.
